About the Collab //
ELLE (literally "she" in French), is a street artist whose public art represents the independent "ELLEs of the World." Quite literally, her work often features the physical parts of a woman, most famously her eyes. HIBOO aka Amanda Weidman had been subconsciously drawing lips over the past few years. The collaboration was organic and natural - drawing sessions on studio floors with little regard to preserving the actual art piece resulted in sheets upon sheets of paper with drawings, doodles, and illustrations of faces, eyes, and lips from both artists.
THIS COLLABORATION WAS CREATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR YELLE MAG ISSUE NO 1 / FEMME (Released Spring 2013).
